Ralph Rafaniello

Ralph RafanielloRalph R. Rafaniello served as a former Executive Vice President of the American Stock Exchange from 2002 to 2005. His primary responsibilities included all aspects of the operations of the Trading Floor which included responsibility for over 500 employees. While at the AMEX, his 40 year career included positions in the Market Operations and Trading Floor Systems Division as well as the Systems/Operations Planning Division.

During his time at the AMEX, Mr. Rafaniello was also responsible for the strategic development and operation of all trade executing Technology. He led the planning and budgeting of large scale initiatives including; modernization of the existing Trading Floor, construction of a new state of the art 30,000 square foot Trading Floor, development of the IDC System for Comparison, and a complete replacement of the Trading Floor’s telecommunication infrastructure. He also led the initiatives for many innovative trading systems brought to the Trading Floor.

Currently, Mr. Rafaniello offers consulting services to many organizations, including Lowe’s at their Corporate Headquarters in Mooresville, North Carolina.

He is a graduate of Brooklyn College where he earned both his B.S. and M.S. in Education. Mr. Rafaniello currently lives in Cornelius, North Carolina with his wife Georganna. The Rafaniello’s have three children and four grandchildren.
